Individual Social Responsibility (ISR) is a moral belief where we, as individuals, have a responsibility toward society. Being ‘socially responsible’ is about all individuals behaving ethically and sensitively towards social, economic, and environmental issues.
It is about being accountable for our actions and being conscious of the impact your actions have on others, our communities, and the environment.
When people come together with a sense of common purpose for their community’s common good, they are interested in helping others.
I practice my social responsibility volunteering in the community, charitable giving, participating in fair trade, reducing my carbon footprint, and making socially and environmentally conscious investments.
